A childs Tulwar
Date: 19th century
Materials: Silver, Steel, Wood and Velvet
A short silver koftgari Tulwar made for a child. The hilt is overlaid with silver work in a typical rajasthani fashion - in geometric cross hatches. With a smaller sized hilt - it indicates it was made for a child. With a typical tulwar style blade, the form and scale of the sword is much shorter than normal.
Accompanied with a new blue velvet scabbard.
